It’s a bumper crop day for Nexus 5X cases. We looked at Verus’ first case earlier, and now it’s time for a long-time customer favourite: Spigen. The company is unveiling two new cases today for the Nexus 5X, so let’s take a look.
Earlier today we launched the first Nexus 6P cases from Verus, the High Pro Shield, and now we’d like to return and do the same for the Nexus 5X.
The first third-party cases for the Nexus 6P have been launched, as Google finally announced the new phone at its press event on Wednesday. The first case that we’d like to feature is the Verus High Pro Shield, a protective case that boasts a beautiful look in a range of colours.
The Moto X Play has a massive 3630mAh battery, but somehow the phone only ships with a measly 1A charger. That means it takes an absolute age to recharge the phone, even though the X Play actually does support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 standard (which uses 2A+ chargers at higher voltages). We tested the Moto X Play with a Quick Charge 2.0 charger, and you can see the results in the video below.
