We posted last week about the appearance of an official render of the device, which was theorised at the time to be a decoy (given that it was provided by an official OnePlus representative). Now, it seems that it was just a marketing measure, as the phone pictured in the render closely matches reports by Chinese government agency TENAA, shown above. Lenovo Tech World is kicking off in about two weeks, where the Chinese company are expected to announce a pair of new Motorola flagships. As we reported earlier, these flagships are expected to be called the Moto Z instead of the Moto X, and they’ll feature modular backplates called MotoMods.
