The LG G5 SE; a smaller G5? Apparently not

Last week, it was uncovered that LG have trademarked the name “G5 SE” in South Korea, sparking rumours that it was about to release a smaller version of the LG G5. However, Mobile Fun have today received stock of the official LG G5 QuickCover cases which list compatibility for G5 / G5 SE on the packaging, which seems to confirm that the devices will in fact be the same size (if they are to be different models at all).

These guys made their own iPhone 6 SE

When the iPhone SE was still naught but a rumour, opinions were divided on the phone’s design. Would it look like the boxy iPhone 5, Apple’s previous four inch phone, or would it be a pint-sized version of the curvier iPhone 6? Ultimately, we ended up with the former, a straight-edged iPhone with only a few small tweaks inspired by the iPhone 6. Not everyone was happy with that answer though, and this week ComputerBild unveiled an alternative, a custom-built iPhone they’re calling the iPhone 6 SE.

Huawei announce P9 & P9 Plus flagship phones with dual rear cameras

Huawei isn’t the most well-known phone maker in the UK, but it’s kind of a big deal. The company sold over 100 million devices last year, most in its native China, making it the third biggest smartphone maker in the world after Samsung and Apple. The company announced its latest flagship phone in London today, the P9. Its standout feature is a Leica-approved dual-lens camera, but there’s plenty more to see here. Let’s take a look.
