The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are coming soon, so it’s no surprise that cases for the phones are beginning to make an appearance online. Whether made according to rumours or with real insider knowledge, these case renders via 9to5Mac can show what features we expect to see in September when Apple holds its next iPhone event.
The iPhone 7 may have no real design changes from the iPhone 6, but the iPhone 7 Plus will be a different story. According to a report from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the next big iPhone will include a dual rear camera across all configurations.
New drawings of the unannounced iPhone were released this week, showing an iterative improvement in the look of the phone. The antenna lines, which mar an otherwise clear back side near the top and bottom, have been moved to the top and bottom edges of the phone in a curve. This allows the phone’s radios to escape the metal shell as usual, but looks much better.*
If you’re considering a new smartphone, you may want to hold fire for now as there are some pretty exciting launches planned for 2016. Here’s what you can expect to see next year.
