Opera releases free VPN app for iOS

Opera has been on something of a privacy kick recently. The web browser for power users recently added a free VPN to its developer version, allowing users to bypass firewalls and browse securely without paying a dime. Today, the company unveiled a standalone app for iOS that does the same thing, called simply Opera VPN. It’s available now, for free, and it’s pretty awesome.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active photo leaks

The Galaxy S7 Active is coming soon, if recent leaked photos are any indication. The photos, leaked late last week, show an up-armoured version of Samsung’s non-Edge flagship phone. The phone sports a thicker, rubberised frame that should provide exceptional impact resistance, along similar lines as past Active models.

LG unveils new sub-screen fingerprint sensor

This week LG Innotek unveiled a fingerprint reader that occupies a 0.03mm crevice cut into the bottom of the glass of a smartphone screen, freeing smartphone makers from choosing only between a button on the front or a pad on the back.

Jaguar Land Rover unveil Tile Bluetooth item-tracking integration
