Best screen protector for Apple Pencil users – Paperlike

If you’ve bought an iPad Pro for note taking, drawing, or just general design you might have been disappointed by the feel of using the Pencil on the screen, well this screen protector changes all of that – introducing the Switcheasy Paperlike screen protector.

This screen protector aims to make your iPad screen feel like you are drawing on paper rather than on glass. Once installed, when you touch the screen with your fingers you instantly realise it feels a little different and a bit more grippy, it actually feels quite nice in my opinion.

The biggest change comes when you use your stylus or Apple Pencil on it, because of the texture it feels a lot more like drawing on paper, and it actually sounds like paper, it makes the whole experience very realistic.

I’ve tried to take notes on my iPad lots of times, but it just never felt natural, however with this screen protector it makes it feel alot more natural.

But it doesn’t stop there, the protector will also help stop sunlight glaring on the screen as it now has a matte finish, this is very useful if you often use your iPad next to a window or outside. Obviously as your screen now has another layer on it, its alot more protected against scratches so this is another pro to having this on your iPad.

Some people have advised that the Matte finish on the protector can wear down the tips on the Apple Pencil, however in my use the Pencil seems fine so far. If you are drawing a lot on the iPad then it might be worth getting some more nibs incase.

Overall this screen protector not only helps protect your screen, but also stops glare from sunlight and finally makes taking notes and drawing incredibly like doing so on paper.
