The very first iPhone X battery case has finally been announced. The Mophie Juice Pack Air will wrap the iPhone X in a comfortable embrace, protecting your phone while also lengthening its battery life significantly. Here’s what you need to know.

This accessory is intended for anyone that needs their iPhone X to last a long time, whether that’s to the end of a long work day, until you get home after a night out or any other situation when you’re away from a charging point for a long time. What does it do?
The Juice Pack Air charges your iPhone X, beginning when you press a button on the back of the case. The case provides 1720mAh of battery power, compared to the 2716mAh capacity of the iPhone X, good for about nine extra hours of talk time.
That means your iPhone X battery life should be about 150% of its current total; if it normally lasts a day, you should be able to get about 12 extra hours out of it. If it lasts until the beginning of the evening now, it should last until the end of the evening with this battery pack installed.
The Mophie Juice Pack Air is the first iPhone X battery case that recharges wirelessly — super convenient! Just remember to pick up an iPhone wireless charger if you want to make use of this capability. Otherwise, you can charge the case with a cable as normal, which is also a bit faster if you’re in a rush.
