The Samsung Galaxy S8 boasts a colossal screen, thanks to a curved edge on each side and tiny bezels top and bottom. Thankfully, screen protector makers are up to the task, and we’ve already got some of the best on the market available for pre-order. Here are our picks for the best Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus screen protectors!
The InvisibleShield is a straightforward screen protector, designed to cover the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus’ titanic screen with plastic film. This is a little easier to install on a curved screen than a tempered glass alternative, and it’s cheaper too.
The downside is that you’ll have to replace it down the line if it gets scuffed or scratched. However, even if it saves your phone one time before needing to be replaced, it’s well worth it — it’s estimated that Samsung will charge around £200 for a screen repair, making screen protectors a very economical option!
InvisibleShield HD is the full-coverage version of the original; essentially a screen protector for the entire body of your phone. That makes for impressive protection against scratches and light knocks, although the HD is a little more expensive than the original version (and takes a little longer to install). However, once in place, you’ll definitely be glad you made the effort — especially when your Galaxy S8 survives a brush with death!
