If you haven’t seen it before, the Camera Expansion Module (or ‘Cam Plus‘) is pretty incredible. It packs a lot of extra functionality into a very small space, all designed to make photography on the G5 even better. Just slide out the standard battery with the press of a button, and slide in the camera module for an instant upgrade.
So what do you get with the Camera Expansion Module? You get a better grip, for one, with easy buttons for the shutter, a zoom dial and more. This makes shooting with the G5 much more like a compact camera, ensuring you get more stable shots and you don’t need to move your fingers to the screen.
The module also includes a sizeable extra battery, built into the grip. This battery has a capacity of 1,200mAh, giving you a whopping 4,000mAh of total battery power. That’s more than enough to ensure you get the shots you want, even if you’re out all day.
