We’re happy to announce the first cases for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: FlexiShield cases made by Olixar. The cases offer a rare first look at the curved-edge Samsung flagship, expected to be announced near the Mobile World Congress in late February.

The flexible gel cases include cutouts for the ports and features, including a micro USB port and 3.5mm jack on the bottom and a large camera/flash on the back, although the module looks a little thinner than previous Edge models. The front of the phone is also partially exposed, showing off a repositioned front-facing camera.

Recent leaked AnTuTu benchmarks indicate that the phone will come with a 2560 x 1440 5.1-inch display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. A 12-megapixel f/1.7 camera on the rear and 5-megapixel camera on the front are also listed. The big question mark at the moment is the presence or absence of a Micro SD card slot; the S6 dropped this long-time favourite feature, but it’s been occasionally rumoured to reappear for the S7 and its stablemates.

We’ll continue to add new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge cases as they appear, with dozens expected once the phone launches in late February or early March. Thanks for checking out the article, and let us know what you think in the comments below!
