Like its predecessor, the SmartBand 2 is a fitness tracker that uses a range of sensors to record data about your movement each day. The light, comfortable band is waterproof and has five days of battery life, so it’s easy to keep using the SB2.
The big new inclusion for Sony’s SmartBand 2 is an integrated heart rate sensor, allowing you to constantly monitor your heart-rate whether you’re in the middle of a marathon or just sitting at your desk. You’ll be able to see how your heart rate changes throughout the day, letting you correct any deficiencies.
The Lifelog app is one of the best fitness apps available, showing you a daily log of your fitness and activities. The app can automatically categorise your movement too, telling between walking, running, cycling, taking the train and more. You can also see information about your sleep each night, letting you see how exercise and other activity affects the length and depth of your sleep. You can also add notes during the day, letting you build a fuller picture. It’s a deep app, with lots to do and explore.
