Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 mains and car chargers announced

Dual USB Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Car Charger - Black

Over the past few years, smartphones have gotten better in some very obvious ways – bigger screens, faster processors, more RAM – but behind the scenes, we’ve also seen considerable innovation. Quick charging is one area; by providing higher voltage supplies, some smartphones can now be refilled in a matter of minutes. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 is the most widely supported standard for this, and can take you from 0 to 60% in just 30 minutes. Today, we’re unveiling two new chargers that support Quick Charge 2.0 from Aukey.

Our first charger is the Mains Charger, which is a slim and highly portable USB mains adapter. The charger will charge your phone up to 75% faster than a non-Quick Charge 2.0 alternative, so it’s definitely worth picking up. There are three versions available, to suit mains sockets in the UK, US and EU.

To see more information or place your order, please see the product pages linked below. The first link is for the UK charger, while the second and third are for the US and EU versions, respectively.

As you might expect, our next charger is for use in your car, connecting to the cigarette / auxiliary port in your dashboard to provide rapid charging to your phone. Here we have two versions available, with either one or two USB ports included. Choose the version that makes sense for you – users with multiple devices or cars with multiple people will probably want to spring for the dual USB version.
