Kickstarted PadPivot Portable Universal Tablet Stand ships now

The PadPivot raised $190,000 of its $10,000 funding goal on Kickstarter last year, and now it’s finally arrived on our shelves! This innovative universal tablet stand uses a ball-bearing pivot to provide an infinitely adjustable viewing angle that works with all kinds of tablets and e-readers.

This includes the 7″ tablets like the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire 2 up to 10″ tablets like the iPad and Microsoft Surface. There’s a sticky pad that will attach to all glossy surfaces and most cases too, and there’s also a fallback option of a notch that holds your device upright.

The base of the PadPivot doesn’t just support the stand on flat surfaces; you can also use it on your leg making it ideal for use on public transport. No matter what you’ve mounted it on, you’ll reap the benefits of ultimate adjustability and superb stability.

Finally, the PadPivot is astoundingly portable. It folds up into itself, becoming a thin strip not much bigger than a small smartphone and will easily fit in a pocket or purse.

It’s easy to see why the PadPivot has got so much support – it’s quite brilliant. You can order one directly below, or check out the product page for more information!

Thanks for reading, and be sure to let me know what you think of the project over on Twitter @mobilefun or in the comments below! I think it’d look great as an iPad stand or a Nexus 7 stand… I’ve gotta say that I’m tempted to order one myself!

  1. Nice small stand :) Think Kickstarter is the bomb by the way. Nice way to get sponsers and bring your own idea in the market!
