If you turn it around however, you’ll find that there’s a special tucked into the rear of the device: A Samsung Galaxy S2 stand!
The stand allows you to keep your phone upright (in either landscape or portrait mode) whilst it’s sitting on your desk. This is perfect for using your phone as an alarm clock or video player, as you can set it down without having to wedge it upright using whatever bits and pieces you on hand. It also makes checking your notifications a breeze, as you just have to look down instead of having to pick up your phone to check.
Elsewhere, the phone is as you’d expect for a high-end Galaxy S2 case. There are cutouts for each feature, from the camera lens to the side buttons and USB port, and there’s even a raised bevel to prevent screen damage in the event of a fall.
It’s a well constructed package, and it’s easy to recommend the Pop if you often use your smartphone on the desktop.
Genuine Samsung Battery Power Pack Case
This hefty Samsung Battery Power Pack lends an extra nine hours of talk-time use for the rather power hungry Samsung Galaxy S2. To get into the specifics, that’s 1300mAh, compared to the 1650mAh of the phone itself, so you’ll be seeing a massive increase in usage time. You might think this would make the case quite bulky and heavy, but the clever design of this case means that the already diminutive Samsung Galaxy S2 figure isn’t increased too much.
Power usage has long been a spectre of modern smart phones, and the Galaxy S2 is no exception; consequently this powerful (if you’ll excuse the pun) case is quite an essential accessory.
Belkin DualFit Armband
This Belkin DualFit Armband allows you to safely and securely take your smartphone with you when you go for a jog. The case is strapped around your arm with an adjustable Velcro band, and the entirety of the phone is covered. The phone is still usable however, as the covering is made of a special material that allows use of the touchscreen. This cover is also splash-proof, meaning that you don’t have to cease your jog in the event of a light rain shower.
The entire case is well thought out, from the lightweight and flexible neoprene providing a comfortable fit and reflective strips that will keep you easily visible in the dark. There’s even a slot for the headphone socket, allowing you to listen to your music while you’re on the go.
It’s not an area that I would immediately think of when considering Samsung Galaxy S2 cases, but this armband is well devised and definitely a must if you’re a keen jogger.
