At the tail end of last month we unveiled a new kind of screen protector, the Olixar Quicktap. The Quicktap combines the protection of a tempered glass screen protector with some novel functionality – the ability to tap buttons near the top of your screen without needing to stretch your hand. This is accomplished through active screen elements, which transmit the impact of your touch from the bottom of the phone (below the screen and to either side of the home button) to the top. Today, we’re announcing that the Quicktap screen protectors will also be available for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Apple’s latest smartphones.
The Sony Xperia Z5 was announced this week at the IFA trade show in Berlin, the traditional beginning to the autumnal slew of smartphone releases. You may have noticed that Apple’s latest iPhones are a little larger than their predecessors. The size of the screen changed from 4 inches to 4.7 inches on the iPhone 6 and a whopping 5.5 inches on the iPhone 6 Plus.
