Olixar QuickTap iPhone 6S & iPhone 6S Plus tempered glass screen protectors available soon

At the tail end of last month we unveiled a new kind of screen protector, the Olixar Quicktap. The Quicktap combines the protection of a tempered glass screen protector with some novel functionality – the ability to tap buttons near the top of your screen without needing to stretch your hand. This is accomplished through active screen elements, which transmit the impact of your touch from the bottom of the phone (below the screen and to either side of the home button) to the top. Today, we’re announcing that the Quicktap screen protectors will also be available for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Apple’s latest smartphones.

The new screen protectors are fully compatible with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, including the new 3D Touch feature that lets you Peek and Pop by pressing down harder on the screen.

These screen protectors are among the most protective yet announced for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, and will guard against scratches and impacts. If you like your iPhone’s display to remain blemish-free – and you want to avoid nasty, expensive cracks – then using a tempered glass screen protector like this is a perfect idea.

This graphic explains how the Quicktap technology works, detailing the active screen elements and their connection from bottom to top. This allows electrical signals to pass from your finger to the buttons remotely. Of course, these aren’t visible to the naked eye, letting you use your iPhone as normal.
