Microsoft’s busy E3 2016: Project Helix, Project Scorpio, Xbox TV & more

Next week the Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, kicks off in Los Angeles. The long-running show is the most important event for video game news, as game publishers and console makers make their big announcements for the year. New games, new devices, new ways to play. Rumours suggest that Microsoft will make some big announcements this year, including new Xbox consoles, an ‘Xbox TV’ and even a merging of Windows 10 and the Xbox One. Here’s what you need to know.

Fallout 4 creators release iOS game Fallout Shelter

Bethesda kicked off this year’s E3 gaming expo with a press conference in the early hours of Monday morning, unveiling a half-dozen new games for PC and consoles including Doom, Dishonored 2 and the widely anticipated Fallout 4. They also had a bit of a surprise for us – their first mobile title. It’s called Fallout Shelter, it’s available today on iOS, and it’s brilliant.
