Along with the iPhone 12 Series of handsets, Apple unveiled their MagSafe range of accessories including a number of cases, sleeves and wallet pouches. Staying in line with Apple’s design language, all of the cases, sleeves and wallets note a minimal design and are made to a very high standard, however they are also fairly costly.
As a result Olixar released their range of cost effective MagSafe cases, which have proved to be great alternatives to the Official Apple cases. With that said we’ll be going through their new range and our thoughts on it.
Olixar iPhone 12 Series Magsafe Compatible Case – 100% Clear
Olixar’s 100% clear case has an almost identical look in comparison to Apple’s clear case, however it offers slightly more protection through the shock absorbing corners of the case. The case itself is made from a flexible silicone gel material which makes it thin and lightweight. In terms of quality, it’s still made to a high standard and provides a great fit to any of the iPhone 12 series of handsets.
As with the Official Apple Clear MagSafe case, the transparent design shows off the magnetic array of the case, which may not be to everyone’s taste.

Olixar iPhone 12 Series MagSafe Compatible Silicone Case
Olixar’s MagSafe Silicone Cases are again very similar to Apple’s own version, however one missing feature, as expected, is that they do not include the Apple logo on the rear.
Building on from their previous version, the Olixar MagSafe Silicone cases are relatively slim and lightweight, yet protective. The only downside we found in terms of design was that the bottom of the case is left opened, meaning the port and speaker section on the iPhone 12 series can face damage if dropped.
In terms of compatibility with MagSafe, this case features the same magnetic array as the Official cases and so when tested we found the magnetic attraction performed without any issues.

Olixar MagSafe Compatible RFID Card Wallet for iPhone 12 Series
As with the Olixar silicone cases above, their Wallet pouches also do not feature the Apple logo. The wallets are made from a faux / vegan leather material and feature a great stitch design around the edges, which provides it with high quality finishing.
Additionally, unlike the Official Apple cases, Olixar have managed to construct their wallets with RFID and NFC blocking technology, meaning your credit and debit cards will be protected from wireless data theft. For that reason alone, we much preferred the Olixar wallets compared to Apple’s own leather wallets.
