OnePlus 3 price will go up due to Brexit

As you may have noticed, the UK recently voted to leave the EU. That’s brought about a number of changes, and one has been a significant devaluing of the Pound Sterling against foreign countries, causing in turn foreign-made goods to become more expensive. The shrewd team at OnePlus is using this as a marketing opportunity, with an announcement that the OnePlus 3 will soon be going up in price… but you have one week to grab it at its original £309 price tag.

We’ve become big fans of the OnePlus 3, after reading overwhelming positive reviews from the critics and spending some time with it ourselves. The new aluminium construction, top-end specifications and light Android installation all make it a worthy choice. OnePlus have also done well to address criticisms of the device, changing its memory management scheme to better take advantage of the 6GB of RAM, and adding an sRGB colour mode which drastically improves colour accuracy. Overall, it’s a pretty strong phone that compares well to flagship phones that cost more.

So, if you were thinking about picking up the OnePlus 3, it’ll be £309 until July 11th, next Monday. After that, it’ll go up to £329, so you may want to buy sooner than later.
