Microsoft’s Windows 10 flagship phones, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, are still “coming soon” to the UK… but they’ve already gone on sale. Microsoft has announced new prices for both handsets, which are more in line with costs in the United States and other territories.
The Lumia 950 sees the biggest price cut, moving from £500 to £450. Meanwhile, the Lumia 950 XL has moved from £550 to a more reasonable £530.

Europe and the UK are relative strongholds for Windows on mobile compared to the United States and Asia, so it’s clear that Microsoft believe good sales here are a necessity. The phone hasn’t been well received by American carriers (including no support from Verizon and T-Mobile), so a greater focus on Europe would make sense.
