Witti’s company tagline is amazing little things, and that’s exactly what they do. Today we’re taking a look at two of their latest gadgets, the Notti and the Dotti smart lights.
Notti – a smart light with notifications and more
Notti is a smart light, connecting to your iPhone or Android phone, then lighting up when you get notifications. Different colours mean different apps, so you could set Facebook to be blue, emails to be red and so on. You can also put the Notti into different modes, letting it act as an alarm clock – gradually brightening to wake you – or a music visualiser, with its colours and brightness adapting to the beat.
Of course, you can also just use it as a mood light, setting its colour in the app. The Notti can run off its internal battery for 5+ hours of continuous light, or 720+ hours when used in notification mode, and recharges quickly via Micro USB. It’s small too, measuring 110 x 110 x 50 millimetres, so you can easily take it with your or leave it on your desk as you prefer.
Dotti – a full colour pixel art smart light
The Dotti is a different take on a similar concept. This gadget is a retro pixel display, lighting up 64 pixels with pictures and animations in full colour. The Dotti is also controlled by your smartphone, and can react to notifications or music.
The Dotti can also be set to whatever animation or icon you prefer, with a full gallery of options and the ability to turn your own photos into 8×8 pixel drawings. Like the Notti, it uses an internal rechargeable battery that lasts for a full day and can be recharged easily via Micro USB.
