Today we’re going to be taking a look at some of the first cases to be made available for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Today we’ll have two Note Edge cases, one official case from Samsung themselves and one case from third-party makers Rearth. Let’s get right into it!
Official Samsung Flip Wallet Cover – White, Black
This official case fits the Note Edge perfectly, replacing the original battery cover to ensure absolutely minimal added bulk and weight. The Flip Wallet gets its name from the flip cover which protects the screen, and the credit card slots tucked inside. This inclusion means you can keep a couple of cards, ID or some cash with you at all times. The flip cover is sleep/wake enabled, meaning the screen will unlock as you open the cover and lock again when it’s closed. The case is made from high-quality synthetic leather, providing good protection from scratches and light knocks. For drops and other hazards, you’ll want to pick up a thicker and more protective case instead. But if you just want a case that can withstand the rigours of everyday use while adding minimal bulk, this official Samsung Flip Wallet is an ideal candidate.
Rearth Ringke FLEX Case – Smoke Black, Clear
Our second case from the seasoned case-makers Rearth. The Ringke FLEX is a bumper case, adding minimal millimetres to your Note Edge while providing essential drop and scratch protection to the back and sides of your phone. The case includes a lip around the screen, ensuring the phone is never resting on the screen to avoid scratches and dust from being picked up. The case also includes ‘active touch technology’, a unique rubberised coating for the buttons that make them easier to press. Of course, the case also includes full access to the various ports and features of the Note Edge, including that unique folded secondary display. The case is available in clear and smoke black variants, allowing you to maintain the look of your phone while still having some protection present.
