First photos of Official Book Cover for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

The first official accessory pictures of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 have been published by Mobile Fun. The pictures, shown below, show the Official Samsung Book Cover in a range of colours for three models: the Tab 4 7.0, Tab 4 8.0 and Tab 4 10.1.

The Book Cover is made from a tough impact-resistant polycarbonate, protecting the Tab 4 from scratches and drop damage.The case provides comprehensive coverage too, including the edges and corners, to prevent damage both while the tablet is in use and while it is stored away for travel.

Each Book Cover looks quite solid, with a three segment design that allows the cover to fold into a multi-level stand. One ‘low’ level is good for typing or drawing, while the ‘high’ level is better for watching movies or playing games. The positioning of the segment dividers changes between each case, but work similarly across the board.

As you’d expect from a Samsung case for a Samsung tablet, the Official Book Cover will fit the Galaxy Tab 4 precisely. Cutouts are provided for buttons and ports, and it’s easy to install and remove the tablet from the case as necessary.

There are four colours available here: black, white, plum red and indigo blue. I’m particularly fond of these latter two colours, as it looks like Samsung have chosen some nice shades here.

If you’re looking for a slim, protective and helpful cover for your Galaxy Tab 4, then Samsung’s first party option looks like a great choice.
