Samsung Galaxy S5 is coming ahead of schedule to Mobile Fun. While the phone has an official UK release date of April 11th, we are expecting stock of the black and white models to arrive on April 7th – four days early.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to be the best-selling Android phone of 2014, with a new design and upgrades throughout. New features include a new dust and waterproof design and a focus on fitness, with an integrated heart rate sensor and easy connectivity to Samsung’s line of Galaxy Gear wearables. A fingerprint sensor is also included, letting you log into your phone with a touch of your finger.
The Galaxy S5’s hardware has also been improved considerably over the Galaxy S4. The new phone includes a larger 5.1-inch display, a faster Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and a whopping 16-megapixel rear camera. A larger 2800 mAh battery provides up to 21 hours of talk time, four hours longer than the previous model.
The Galaxy S5 looks fresh too, with a dimpled rear cover that feels comfortable in the hand and much nicer than the slick plastic we saw on the Galaxy S3 and S4. The phone is available in four colours as well: black, white, gold and blue.
All in all then, the Galaxy S5 represents a solid upgrade over the Galaxy S4. If you’ve got an S4 (or an S3!) then the S5 seems like a good choice – it’ll be faster, more capable, and better looking.
