The Google Nexus 7 has finally been released in several Western European countries: France, Germany and Spain. The news comes several weeks after the tablet first launched in English speaking nations like the US, UK Canada and Australia.
The Google Nexus 7 is the first Google-branded Nexus tablet, and launches with the very latest Android OS – Jelly Bean, version 4.1. The 7″ tablet includes a 1280 x 800 resolution IPS display and is powered by a powerful quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The Nexus 7 only really misses out on the connectivity front, where Wireless g/b/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB are the only options. Still, the tablet provides incredible value for money and excels as a media consumption device, whether you’re watching films, playing games or just reading the web.
The European price for the Google Nexus 7 is very close to the US and UK equivalents, at €199 for the 8 GB version and €249 for the 16 GB variant. If you order right now from Google Play, you should have your shiny new tablet in three to five days. The device is expected to come to Austria next week. Local retailers are expected to begin stocking the device in the days and weeks to come, too.

Conclusion
I hope you found this useful. Thanks for reading and have a good one!
Thanks for the update. Waiting ’till next week then..
It should be available next week, sorry for the confusion – I received some incorrect information :(
“hope you found this useful”.. Well sounded great, but the Google Play store message “Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet.” took the fun out of it.. (Austria)
