We get to see a lot of strange and interesting gadgets and accessories here but this latest one just might prove to be pretty useful too – meet the iKeyboard for iPad 2.

The iKeyboard is a silicone keyboard slip which you place over the keyboard on your iPad 2.  It’s designed to make typing on your iPad even easier, giving you the feel of typing on a keyboard rather than a touchscreen.  This is said to improve your typing speeds and accuracy so you can get work completed even faster.

Foldable, portable and easy to use the iKeyboard is a great idea for those who use their iPad 2 for emailing and work.  The keyboard is cut so as not to cover the camera and home button too, so you cans till use all the features of your iPad whilst the iKeyboard is in use.

You might be wondering why this might be helpful? A lot of people who use the iPad 2 find that they easily make mistakes when attempting to type fast because of how sensitive the screen is and the closeness of the keys – so with the iKeyboard you can reduce the amount of errors you make as the keys have more separation.

It’s a really simple idea which could make a lot of difference to iPad 2 users.

What we want to know though is would you buy one?  Let us know through the usual channels!

  1. Probably not very helpful, it’s been shown that iOS doesn’t pass all the keystrokes it receives to the application, causing additional problems to bad typing.
