The slim, sim free Motorola RAZR is now shipping at Mobile Fun.
The impossibly thin phone boasts an incredibly strong design built with kevlar, diamond-cut aluminium accents and Corning Gorilla Glass. While the RAZR is thin at 7.1 mm, it’s also wide; the phone includes a 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD display that looks gorgeous.
The phone utilises a powerful 1.2 GHz dual core chip as well as a full gigabyte of RAM, double that of the iPhone 4S. The battery is another of the phone’s best features, with an incredibly 1780 mAh of capacity that should last for an awesome nine hours and twenty minutes. The unlocked Motorola RAZR also includes a 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p video capture. All in all, it’s an impressive piece of hardware.
On the software side of things, Motorola have included a few unique programs that are actually quite cool. One is MotoCast, a clever program that allows you to stream music and movies from your home PC onto the RAZR, so you don’t have to keep all of your media on your phone. This combines well with the integrated micro HDMI port, allowing you to display the streamed content on an HDTV or projector.
The RAZR also includes Smart Actions, a program which monitors the state of your phone and automatically turns off and on features and performs tasks. These can be used to save power, e.g. turning off wireless until you get home, or automate common tasks, e.g. launching the music player when you plug in your headphones.
