Top 10 Accessories for the Nokia N86

The Nokia N86 is Nokia’s first 8 megapixel camera phone and is designed to take on the likes of the Sony Ericsson C905, LG Viewty Smart and the Samsung Pixon.  As with most Nokia handsets, it’s joined the party a little bit later than everyone else, but that shouldn’t stop it from being one of the best camera phones available.  The Nokia N86 8MP borrows it’s styling and specifications from the Nokia N96, but boasts a much improved camera and brighter display.  It’s not all about the camera though, the N86 8MP has 8GB internal storage making it perfect for storing your photo’s, videos & music and built in GPS means it can double up as your in-car Sat Nav unit too.

5. Nokia N86 TV-Out Cable
If you want to show your photos and videos off without having to transfer them to your PC and watch them on your monitor, you can always watch them back on your TV. There are two ways of doing this with the N86.  The easiest way is to use the CA-75U TV-out cable.  This just plugs into the headphone socket on your phone and into the component video connection on the back of your TV. 6. SanDisk 8GB Micro SD HC Memory Card
You might be thinking “why would I need a memory card when I have 8GB memory?” well, 8MP photo’s take up a lot more space than 3MP or 5MP, so you’ll find that the 8GB will fill up pretty fast, especially if you’re recording video, using it as your music player and installing extra applications from the OVI store.  The N86 can take a 16GB memory card, but could slow your phone down.  8GB won’t affect the performance of your phone, but will give you plenty of space for all your media.

8. Nokia CR-39 Car Holder

Nokia Maps is an application that most people dismiss as poor quality and expensive, but it’s neither of these things.  Having used Nokia maps for over 12 months now, I find it to be a simple easy to use navigation tool that I wouldn’t want to be with out.  You can use Nokia Maps straight out of the box for free of charge route planning & tracking and to find nearby places of interest. If you want voice guidance, then you will need to buy a license, you can do this through the handset (at a premium) or you can buy this 12 months license from us for around 25% less than you can from Nokia.

10. Nokia CK-300 Car Kit
