The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has arrived, and it’s brought with it all kinds of fun gadgets and accessories. Here are five of our favourites, coming soon to Mobile Fun!
5. Griffin Smart Bluetooth Connected Toaster
Smart appliances are getting crazy, and even case-maker Griffin is getting into the action with their new smart… toaster. This gadget promises to let you control temperature, bread type and more from anywhere in your home… but you’ve still got to put the bread in the machine and take it out when you’re done. Of course, it also just looks like an awesome toaster, with separate digital settings for bagels, frozen food, gluten-free bread or just ‘a little extra’ time. You don’t need this, but you might quite want one.

The TwelveSouth ActionSleeve is a unique armband strap for the Apple Watch. 3. Griffin BreakSafe 100W USB-C Power Cable
While the new MacBook and MacBook Pros have come with many courageous innovations, they’ve also included a few sacrifices. That includes one fan favourite feature, the MagSafe power connector, which made it easy to plug and unplug your MacBook without worrying about the cord yanking your laptop unceremoniously to the ground. Happily, Griffin have found a way of adding that functionality back to the new MacBook computers, via a USB-C adapter called BreakSafe. Simply plug your USB-C charger into the dongle, and its two-part mechanism will magnetically attach and detach with ease, just like it did with Apple’s MagSafe connector. Awesome.
