This Bluetooth remote is a safer alternative, as you can skip tracks with a push of a button, ask questions with your voice and adjust the volume by spinning the knob — all without taking your eyes off the road.
How to get started
All you need to use the RM-X7BT is an AUX input and a power supply, either via USB or a cigar lighter outlet (as shown above).
The base station will connect to your car stereo, while the actual remote itself will connect wirelessly to the base station, allowing you to mount it wherever it’s most convenient to reach. Pairing with your smartphone is easy too, thanks to integrated NFC. Just tap your phone on the remote, and you’ll be ready to go!
Once installed, you can enjoy listening to the music on your smartphone through your car’s better speakers, or take a conference call without missing a word. And of course, you can adjust the volume, skip tracks and more by using your new Bluetooth remote.
The integrated microphone also allows you to use voice assistants like Google Assistant, Siri or Cortana. Just press the button, and you’ll be able to set reminders, ask questions and much more — very convenient when you suddenly remember something to do later, and you don’t have pen and paper handy to write it down!
