Skier uses his iPhone and selfie-string to film dramatic 360° video

Swiss freeskier Nicolas Vuignier  has shot an amazing 360° video using just his iPhone, a DIY selfie-string and of course some awesome skiing skills.

It may haven taken him “two years of tinkering and tweaking” to create his selfie-string, but suffice to say it was worth the effort. And thankfully “no iPhones were harmed during the making of this video” – amazingly he still uses his trusty iPhone everyday.

Nicolas shot his video by swinging his selfie-string in the air – a bit like a slingshot – whilst skiing full-pelt down the mountain. He mentions a ‘Making Of’ video is already in the works which we can’t wait to see – although I think it’s unlikely we’ll be trying to replicate this ourselves anytime soon!
