Leaked Galaxy S7 video advert shows off new features

Slightly ahead of the curve, Samsung’s Indonesia branch has posted an advert for the new Galaxy S7 on its YouTube channel.

The advertisement, tagged #TheNextGalaxy features Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda training and using an unnamed Samsung phone.

The phone shown reflects recent rumours that the S7 won’t differ greatly from the S6.

Tellingly the video shows Dellie using the phone during a torrential downpour, which presumably means the S7 is going to be waterproofed. In addition to her using wireless charging.

On their website, Samsung Indonesia provide further info:

“worry-less discovery” alongside water bubbles, again hints at waterproofing

“experience privacy at its finest” a possible nod to improved security features

“bring to light the night” alongside a camera lens, suggesting better nighttime or low-light photography

Luckily we haven’t got long to wait now until we find out the true nature of the Galaxy S7, as Samsung is set to officially introduce it to the world at 6PM on February 21st at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
