Lenovo’s ThinkPad 13 comes with either Chrome OS or Windows. Sadly dual-booting isn’t a possibility, as the two models have different keyboards and ports, but it’s still nice to have the option for a Windows alternative. The laptop is powerful enough, with a Core i5 processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of flash storage. They also come with new USB-C connectors, which we’ll see more of in the year ahead. The Chrome OS version will cost $399, while the Windows model is $449; they’ll debut in June and April, respectively.

Transforming ThinkPad X1 tablet

Next up is the ThinkPad X1 tablet. This Windows 10 tablet is modular, with three different modules to add new functionality. Productivity is the first option, which adds 5 hours of battery life and additional USB and HDMI ports. The Presenter module adds a pico projector, capable of throwing a 60-inch display. The 3D Camera model adds Intel’s RealSense camera, allowing objects to be captured and edited for 3D printing. The tablet also comes with a keyboard, complete with TrackPoint and touchpad, a kickstand and an optional stylus. The system launches for $899 next month, with modules costing $149 or $279 depending on which you choose.

Refreshed ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook

The X1 Carbon is in many ways Lenovo’s premier laptop, so I was looking forward to seeing what they’ve changed this year. The new X1 Carbon comes with sixth-generation Intel processors and a thinner, lighter body. The new Carbon weighs just over a kilogram, and measures 17mm thick. Inside, you’ll find up to a Core i7 CPU, backed with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 14-inch display comes in 1080p and 1440p flavours. It’ll debut in February from $1299.

OLED-capable ThinkPad X1 Yoga convertible

The X1 Yoga is near-identical to the Carbon, but adds the line’s trademark 360 degree hinge to turn into a (thick) tablet?—?the keys even retract into the keyboard when the Yoga turns into its tablet mode. It also comes with a touchscreen and stylus, to provide more tablet-friendly input options. The Yoga debuts this month from $1449, including with a (rare) OLED 1440p screen for $200 extra.

ThinkCentre X1, a slim all-in-one

Lenovo are also making an all-in-one this year, the ThinkCentre X1. The new model includes a super-slim 24-inch 1080p IPS display, sitting atop a stylish metal stand. Inside, you’ll find a Core CPU (from i3 to i7), mechanical or solid state drives, and up to 16GB of RAM. The AiO will debut in March for $1049.

USB-C, modular ThinkVision X24 display

We conclude with some stunning new displays. The ThinkVision X24 is a (nearly) borderless 24-inch 1080p IPS display, complete with USB-C which can be used to both connect to a laptop and charge that very same laptop. If you don’t have USB-C, you can fall back to mDP instead. The monitor also has an Intel RealSense 3D camera, allowing it to work with Windows Hello facial recognition login. The monitor also has optional accessories, including a Qi wireless charging base and a WiGig bar?—?this latter option allows you to connect wirelessly to compatible laptops, including almost all of Lenovo’s refreshed laptops. The monitor costs $399, plus $250 for the WiGig bar and $150 for the wireless charging stand (ouch). It’ll ship in May.

USB-C and 4K ThinkVision X1 display

The ThinkVision X1 takes things to the next level. This 27-inch monitor runs at 4K resolution and measures just 7.5mm thick. It also has minimal bezels, measuring just 2mm on the top and sides, for a breathtaking look. The monitor even includes an integrated webcam on a movable platform, stereo speakers and four USB 3.0 ports. It attaches to your PC via USB-C, HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.2 connections and will retail for $799 in March.
