Trio of Spigen Galaxy S6 Edge Plus cases announced

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus cases keep rolling in. This time it’s the turn of popular Korean manufacturer Spigen, who unveiled three new cases to suit the new double curved edge phone.

Spigen Neo Hybrid Carbon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Case - Gunmetal

The Neo Hybrid Carbon is the first of these; Spigen’s flagship case. The case uses a tough mixture of TPU and polycarbonate for protection, providing considerable armour against potential damage in a very small and light design. The case is designed to be quite thin indeed, and that really helps preserve the sharp look of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The ‘Carbon’ in this case’s name refers to the back panel, which looks like carbon fibre and provides a very modern style. The Neo Hybrid Carbon is available in gunmetal, metal slate and dante red.

Spigen Slim Armor Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Case - Gunmetal

The Slim Armor is Spigen’s mid-range case, and it also uses a combination of TPU and polycarbonate for better protection than using just one material. The case has improved shock absorbtion on the corners, preventing impact damage better than many of its peers. The cases are designed with a two-tone style that really pops. Colour options are gunmetal, violet, champagne gold and metal slate. I particularly like the violet option, which is a cool blend of a pastel shade with a tough look.

Spigen Rugged Armor Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Tough Case - Black

Finally we have the budget option of the family, the Rugged Amor. This case costs just £15, but still provides great protection and a robust style. The Rugged Armor is made from a single piece of TPU, and retains the carbon texture look of the Neo Hybrid Carbon. While protection here is not as good as the Slim Armor or Hybrid Carbon, you do get a very slim case. The case is only available in one colour, black, so if you want anything other than black you should take a look at the earlier two cases I mentioned.
