Today we’re going to be taking a look at two new cases for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (phew, what a name!). The cases come via Obliq, a Californian case maker that has impressed in the past with their slim yet protective designs. Let’s get rolling with these new cases, available soon at Mobile Fun.
Obliq Slim Meta Case
The Slim Meta case is a slim case made from two materials, polycarbonate and a metallic backplate. The polycarbonate provides good protection, while the metallic back plate provides added rigidity and a bit of visual appeal. The case hugs the curved sides of the phone, adding protection while staying out of the way.
The case includes a matte surface that increases grip, decreasing the change of a dangerous drop. The case also includes cutouts for all buttons and features, like the camera, speaker and other elements.
The Slim Meta is available for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in Titanium Black, Satin Silver and White / Gold.
Obliq Naked Shield Series
Our second case of the day is the Naked Shield, a case that trades the metallic back panel of the Slim Meta for a transparent shield. That reveals more of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus’ sumptuous design, while still keeping the glass below protected from scratches and dents.
The case remains light and airy thanks to its TPU construction. It also comes with cutouts in all the right places, and even includes a kickstand which is brilliant for watching videos on the go.
The Naked Shield is available in Clear, Black, Blue, Orange and Green.
