The SanDisk Connect is something special – a USB flash drive that’s actually exciting. It still holds your files, but it also sports WiFi connectivity and a battery, letting you access your stuff on multiple devices without even plugging it in. You ain’t never seen a flash drive like this before.

The flash drive reinvented

The Connect is a flash drive that you don’t have to plug in (except to charge it), but that’s not all that it’s capable of. It can also connect to a wide range of devices, including smartphones and tablets. As long as you can install the relevant app, then you can connect to the drive and access your files from up to 150 feet away. Even if you’ve left the USB in the front seat of your car, and you’re in the kitchen, you can still access your files for as long as the Connect has charge; no need to actually go and get it.

As well as saving and opening files, you can also stream from the Connect. That means you can put video, music or pictures on the drive, then access them wirelessly on your smart TV or computer. Download the latest episode of Game of Thrones at home, and watch it at lunch in the office without needing to transfer anything – just open the Connect app on your mobile device. You can even stream music and videos to multiple devices simultaneously, whether that’s to the back seat, the next tent or the other end of the conference table.

The Connect is also great for sharing media and documents to other devices. You could share your presentation at work, copy over a game at a LAN party or just share your latest mixtape with your friends (be careful, it’s fire). The Connect is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows, so no matter which OS your friends or colleagues prefer you’ll have it covered.
