Will the LG G4 with the leather back work with all cases? That’s a question we’ve heard a lot recently, so we decided to investigate. We tried the leather LG G4 with all of the cases we had in stock, to see whether the thicker back of the leather model caused any issues with cases not fitting, or being misaligned.
We made a video with each of the LG G4 cases that we tested, including options from Olixar, Spigen, LG and more. Take a look at the embedded video below!
All of the cases that we tried and worked successfully have been placed in a special category – LG G4 Leather Back Compatible Cases. If you want to be 100% sure that a case will fit the leather G4, please choose from the items in that category. We’ll add more cases as we get them in stock and test them.
In general though, it seems LG have done their design work well. All of the cases we tested seemed to fit the leather-backed G4 perfectly, and we can’t imagine any issues with the vast majority of cases on the market.
