The perfect witness: BlackVue’s dash cams

Last month we announced stocking our first dash cam, the low-cost Ge-Force Dash Cam. Today, we’re back with two models that are altogether more high-end, providing better-looking footage, simpler operation and smarter connectivity. Let’s take a look at the BlackVue dash cameras!

High-quality dash camera

We begin with the BlackVue DR600GW. This dash cam is as professional as it looks, with a wide angle 133 degree lens that records in full 1080p (with audio, date and the time). The cylindrical design allows easily rotation, and it can be mounted to the dashboard or windscreen with ease.

The camera uses BlackVue’s special G-Sensor, which is capable of automatically detecting accidents and saving all of the relevant footage to ensure you have a perfect witness. Built-in WiFi and GPS ensure that you can see your vehicles speed and location, too. You can watch back your footage, check your speed and see your location on Google Maps on PC or Mac with a dedicated app.

The BlackVue DR600GW comes with a 16GB micro SD card, so you’ll be able to start recording out of the box – there’s nothing more to buy.

Recording the view from your dashboard is valuable, but it’s really only half of the story. Using the DR650GW, you’ll be able to use two cameras to record from the front and the rear, both in full 1080p HD. Just as with the first model, you’ll get the benefit of a wide angle view, automatic incident detection, built-in WiFi and GPS, and dedicated apps.
