How to factory reset Galaxy S6 / Galaxy S6 Edge

It’s easy to perform a factory reset of the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, wiping your data and returning the phone to factory-new settings. This also regains a lot of free space, as you can imagine.

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Click search at the top left, then type in Factory data reset.
  3. Select Factory data reset.
  4. Read the warning and then press Reset device.
  5. Your device will perform the factory reset, then reboot.
