Yesterday we wrote about the BlackBerry Passport’s imminent release as a sim-free phone, and now we’re back to show you some of the the best official Passport accessories for everyone’s favourite square phone. Let’s get right into it!
Official BlackBerry Passport Hard Shell Case – Black, White
Our first accessory is an official case for the BlackBerry, the Hard Shell Case. This case provides a cool modern look for your Passport, while adding much-needed protection for the back and sides of your phone. The left and right hand sides of the phone are kept clear, allowing you easy access to the buttons and easy swipes off the side of the screen. Of course, this design decision also means that less screen protection is afforded. The case is available in black and white, and comes with a fine texture on the back that adds grip and helps prevent accidental drops. The case is NFC-friendly, helping the nascent contactless payment system work unabated. Our second case is a more classical look – the Leather Flip Case. This case provides better screen protection compared to the first case, thanks to that flip cover that covers the screen most of the time. The case is made from slim and stylish leather, padded to add comfort and protection. The soft micro-fibre interior keeps the phone inside scratch-free and clean too. The case is quite lightweight for a leather case, and adds very little bulk overall. The case is available in two traditional colours: black and brown. As with the first case, we’ve got the official logos here as this is a genuine product custom-made for the Passport’s unusual shape.
Official BlackBerry Passport Screen Protector – 2 Pack
Our final accessory today is this official screen protector pack. This provides that necessary screen protection, without the bulk and inconvenience of a flip case. The screen protector is easy to apply and leaves no sticky residue when removed. Step-by-step instructions and an applicator card made installation straight-forward. The box contains a pair of screen protectors, so you’re able to use one for a bit, take it off if it gets damaged and then still have a spare to replace it. You could also split the box with a friend, if you know another person that bought the Passport!
