The Arkon Head Strap is one of the most obvious fittings, allowing you to record with your GoPro camera from a first-person perspective. The head strap fits around your helmet or head, with a heavy-duty plastic plate providing the mounting point for the camera. There are adjustment buckles to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for a wide range of heads and helmets. The head strap is made out of stretchable nylon with anti-skid bottoms, perfectly adapted for the role at hand. If you’re looking to capture yourself doing action sports like skiing, skating, skydiving, skateboarding or cycling, then this is the ideal way to do it.
The Arkon Chest Strap is the natural counterpart of the helmet strap, allowing you to affix a GoPro camera to the centre of your chest. This provides a uniquely intimate view of the situation, allowing any action of your legs and arms to be fully captured by the camera – particularly when a fisheye or wideangle lens is used. The chest strap is made of stretchable nylon, with five different adjustment buckles for ensuring a perfect fit.
Compatibility
Both mounts are designed for the GoPro Hero3+, Hero3, Hero2 and other GoPro models. Other small cameras with a 1/4″-20 mounting will also fit, including the Sony Action Cam, Sony POV HD Flash Memory Camcorder, JVC ADIXXION, JVC ADDIXXION Cam 2, and ContourROAM2.
