The heart of the Sony SmartBand is the Sony Core, a tiny sensor package that sits within the band. Sony are developing an ecosystem for the Core, allowing you to later get other accessories that the Core will fit within. For example, the Core might sit within a smartwatch, an armband or even a pair of running shoes. Look for Sony to announce these products towards the end of the year.
