First LG G Flex cases coming in 2014

The LG G Flex, launching in its native South Korea this year, is getting a worldwide release in 2014. The phone’s unique feature is its flexible, curved display which allows for more immersive landscape video and an easier fit in your pocket. It’s also got a rather impressive self-healing back, which can recover from small scratches by itself. Of course, if you want more protection then a case is essential – and that’s where we come in! We’re happy to debut the very first cases for the G Flex: the Curve Vest and the Quick Window.

Let’s take a look, starting with the Curve Vest. It shares a few similarities with the phone itself – it’s made by LG and it curves easily, both big positives. The Curve Vest covers the vulnerable corners of the device, protecting them from drops and knocks, while leaving the screen and the edges unhindered. The flexible polycarbonate also covers the rear, with a large cutout for the camera and buttons. The silver coating looks cool and also adds a fair bit of grip. If you want a slim addition, this is a good choice.

Our next item is the Quick Window; again a flexible case made by LG themselves. The case is similar to the popular S View Samsung cases, which clip onto the rear of the phone and add a windowed cover. The cover’s window is useful for seeing notifications, the time and other information without flipping the cover back. The big benefit of this case is that it adds little bulk, yet protects the screen.

Both G Flex accessories are scheduled to arrive with the phone in early 2014. Thanks for checking out the article, and be sure to visit the product pages for additional details!
