Nexus 5 Armourdillo cases available soon in multiple colours

After the runaway success of the Nexus 4, Google will again release a bleeding-edge phone at a killer low price – and that phone is the Nexus 5. It’s coming at the end of the month, so they say. We’re ahead of the curve here at Mobile Fun – our motto is everything first, after all – and so we’re happy to announce another new Nexus 5 case that’ll be in stock soon, the Armourdillo.

The Armourdillo for the Nexus 5 is near identical in design to that of the Nexus 4, which proved to be one of the most popular cases for the phone. That means the same unique, textured exoskeleton that protects against scratches and knocks just like its zoological namesake. The case’s ridges also make for a highly tactile Nexus 5 cover that’s easy to hold onto, preventing drops in the first place.

This is a hybrid design, with the impact-resistant polycarbonate shell covering a soft lightweight TPU polymer. It’s this layer that’s coloured, and this time around there are even more options to choose from – including black, red, purple, blue and green.

The Nexus 5 will be a great media consumption phone, and to aid that venture the Armourdillo includes a handy kickstand. That means it’ll be easy to watch movies or play games even on the tiny tray table on trains and aeroplanes. Of course, you can also use it on your desk or nightstand at home to keep an eye on incoming notifications or as an alarm clock. When you don’t need the stand, it simply folds flat against the rest of the case, ensuring no extra bulk is added.

So that’s the Armourdillo Hybrid Protective Case for the upcoming Google Nexus 5. This is an awesome Nexus 5 cover, and a great choice for anyone that is planning to pick up the Nexus 5 when it’s announced at the end of November. It’ll be available in four colours, so be sure to check out more information and photographs of each via the product links below:
