The iPhone 5S is a beautiful phone, and it’d be a shame to lock that beauty away. The Draco Design avoids that pitfall, wrapping the new phone in a top quality aluminimum bumper. The bumper looks fantastic and adds some much needed grippy curves to the iPhone, but also provides good rigidity and protection against drops. A premium case that’s worth its high price.

This case is simple but effective, with a plain design that won’t offend and a low price point. The IceBox Edge Case, which comes in white or black, has a clear design to show off your phone’s beautiful finish. At the same time, this case will prevent the typical scratches that are added daily to each iPhone 5 and 5S. While other cases are more beautiful or more capable, this is a nice basic option that doesn’t skimp on quality.
3. Zenus Estime Diary Leather Case
If this case was a racecar, it’d be a Bentley – a beautiful creation with looks from another age and plenty of room inside. The Estime Diary Leather includes a horizontal flip cover with internal pockets, closed by the mysterious force of magnets. The classical stylings are a little thicker than other cases, but you’ll be impressed with the engineering on display and the protection afforded to its occupant is top-notch too.
The Nude Ultra is a great name, and thankfully it adorns a great case. Like the Draco Design case we looked at first, this is another way to keep your iPhone 5S in good condition without locking its shiny spacey, silver or even golden frame out of sight. The case is cheaper too, with a simple snap-on design that adds the moderate drop and scratch protection you need, then nothing more. It’s a slim case that should fit anyone that wants the bare minimum to come between their iPhone’s style and the world.
1. Tech21 Impact Leather Flip Case
It’s all lead up to this – the Tech21 Impact Leather Flip Case. It’s hard to really explain how good this case is, but I’ll make an attempt. First up, this case is super-protective. Not only do you have a flip cover that’ll keep the screen unscratched, but you also have Tech21’s proven D3O technology which instantly hardens in response to an impact, providing protection beyond its slim size. Next, it’s quite a capable case too, with that very safe flip cover serving as a portrait stand as the need arises. Finally, this case just looks good, with a professional leather style and a stylish magnetic fastener. This truly is the whole package – a great match for the iPhone 5S.
