Nexus 7 2013 wireless charging dock coming soon

The Nexus 7 2013 supports wireless charging, but there aren’t a lot of wireless charging stands built for tablets instead of smartphones. That’s changing soon, as Mobile Fun announce a new wireless charging dock custom-built for the Nexus 7 2013. Now it’s finally easy to take advantage of hassle-free, neat and tidy wireless charging.

The new dock will allow the tablet to be used in landscape mode or portrait mode. Landscape mode is perfect for watching films on the Full HD display or playing games. Portrait is better for browsing the web or writing emails using the on-screen keyboard or a Bluetooth alternative. With this dock on your night stand, you’ll also be able to use the Nexus 7 as an easily accessible alarm clock or just to keep an eye on notifications when you’re lying in bed.

The box contains everything you need to get started – the wireless charging dock itself and a micro USB cable, which you can connect to your PC. You can also get faster charging by connecting to an AC adapter, such as the one that came with your Nexus 7 2013. You’ll find that charging is as fast as the Qi standard allows, at 1A.

The stand looks great too, with a carefully sculpted design that matches the rounded shape of the 2013 edition Nexus 7 itself. The micro USB port remains free thanks to the wireless charging, so you’re free to use it to connect USB devices with a USB OTG cable or to an HDTV using a SlimPort adapter.
