First HTC One Max case available for pre-order now

Today, we’re happy to exclusively unveil the very first case for the HTC One Max, the Trident Cyclops Series.

This case offers a nice blend of protection and minimal bulk, similar to the Case-Mate Barely There or the Otterbox Commuter. The Cyclops has a hybrid design, combining hardened polycarbonate and shock absorbent TPE. There’s also a built-in screen protector. This clever design ensures military-grade protection without adding a lot of bulk.

In fact, the Trident Cyclops for the HTC One Max is the thinnest case ever to achieve a MIL-STD-810F rating, which tests resistance to vibration, dust, sand, rain and drops.

The Cyclops still provides full access to all ports, buttons and features of your One Max, too. That means all buttons can be pressed through covers, ports have removable flaps, and the camera, flash, loudspeaker and microphones have cutouts.

All in all, the Cyclops feels like a well designed case that should provide excellent protection for the yet-to-be-announced HTC One Max. It’ll be available in four colours, and it’s available for pre-order right now.

The HTC One Max is thought to be one of several phablet devices (combining traits of both smartphones and tablets) to be announced next week at IFA 2013. We’re also expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note III and the LG Vu III.

It should be an exciting time, so keep an eye out for it! And if you’re going to be picking up the HTC One Max, be sure to have a look at our range of HTC One Max covers and cases.
