Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to arrive in July

Samsung has just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. It was fairly obvious that Samsung will soon bring out a mini version of the S4 to replace the S3 Mini, however, they were expected to officially announce this in June.

JK Shin, CEO and President of the IT & Mobile Communication Division at Samsung Electronics had this to say about the S4 Mini: “We appreciate such unprecedented demands for the Galaxy S4 that we aimed to provide users with a life companion for a fuller, richer and simpler life. And now, we want to give people more choice with the Galaxy S4 Mini, featuring a similar look & feel to the Galaxy S4 for more compact and practical usages. The new Galaxy S4 Mini provides consumers with a new way to enjoy the flagship Galaxy S4 experience.”

JK Shin is trying to appeal to those that find the size of the S4 impractical. Featuring a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display and a 1.7 GHz dual core processor, the S4 Mini is still a powerful device, even when compared to the full sized S4 and its 8 megapixel back camera and 1.9 megapixel HD front-facing camera are more than sufficient for taking great photos.
