Our first third-party BlackBerry Z10 case – the Tech21 Impact Snap

Tech21’s innnovative D30 material has been used to great effect in the Impact Snap Case with Cover for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5, and now we’re happy to announce the same advanced case will be available for the forth-coming BlackBerry Z10.

D3O is the cornerstone of Tech21’s operations – a unique polymer that is as soft as putty in its native form, but hardens instantly in response to impacts. That makes it an incredibly viable material for protecting your smartphone, and you can easily see why Tech21 decided to make cases that made use of the material as their backbone. It results in a case that is among the best you can get for protecting against damage from drops and other impacts, but it accomplishes this high level of protection in a very small space – Tech21’s cases are among the thinnest available.

The Impact Snap Case with Cover is a well designed application of D3O, with two strips of the impact resistant material protecting the phone and complete scratch protection, including for the screen thanks to that attached cover. When your phone is in your pocket or bag, it’ll still be completely protected from any stray hazards like keys, dust and dirt.

For those of you that prefer to leave the front of the BlackBerry Z10 accessible, we’ve also got the same cases in the same colours, but without the cover attached. We’ve also got the Tech21 Impact Shell which offers easier access and comes in a rather complementary Smoke colourway.

This is one of the first cases that’s been announced for the BlackBerry Z10, and definitely looks like it’ll be one of the premiere protective options for the phone once it’s launched. You can visit our BlackBerry Z10 cases or BlackBerry Z10 covers category page for additional options, too.

Right now we haven’t published any pricing or availability information for these Tech21 cases, but you can still visit the product page to register your interest as well as check out additional information and photographs of the case. You can do this via the links below:
