Let’s have a look at how the JBL OnBeat achieves that really nice full sound. First of all, it uses two JBL full range transducers which project incredibly dynamic sound. These transducers, placed to face either side of the dock, deliver a surprisingly powerful sonic package that definitely meets that room-filling criteria. They’re further enhanced by Digital Signal Processing (DSP), a powerful technology that produces the best possible sound from a given source.
Of course, this dock isn’t just some speakers. It’s also got all of the features you’d expect from a top-notch, up-to-date iOS dock. You can even charge your non-Lightning device too, with an integrated USB port in the same position. This means you can get the same charge, sync and audio functionality for a wide range of MP3 players, smartphones and tablets.
